The Legislature encourages privately supported higher education and intends to aid in protecting the health, education, and welfare of persons who receive educational services from independent postsecondary educational institutions in this state; to aid in protecting employers and others who depend upon people whose educational credentials are from independent postsecondary educational institutions in this state; and to aid in protecting independent postsecondary educational institutions that currently operate or intend to begin operating in this state.
The Legislature recognizes that a degree, diploma, or other educational credential serves several purposes. Employers rely upon a person’s educational credentials in judging that person’s qualifications for employment. Educators rely upon a person’s educational credentials to assess the adequacy of that person’s preparation for the pursuit of further education. Therefore, the Legislature intends that the provisions of this chapter aid in protecting the integrity of degrees, diplomas, and other educational credentials offered by independent postsecondary educational institutions by providing for the evaluation of minimum educational requirements.

Knowledge that Ignites — Backed by Standards You Can Trust
Kenridge University maintains a consistently high standard of academics through a dedicated, internal Quality Assurance (QA) system — a structured framework that continuously monitors, evaluates, and improves every program, course, and learning experience we deliver. Quality at Kenridge isn’t a one-time certification; it’s an ongoing discipline built into how we design curricula, train faculty, assess outcomes, and respond to a fast-changing world of work.
We believe an institution’s credibility rests on two pillars: rigorous internal oversight and full compliance with external regulatory standards. Kenridge is built on both.
Kenridge University operates in full compliance with the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), meeting the standards set for institutional licensure, consumer protection, and program integrity for postsecondary education in the state of Florida.
This means Kenridge is held to defined, state-verified benchmarks covering:
Compliance with FLDOE is the foundation of institutional legitimacy — but at Kenridge, it is treated as a floor, not a ceiling. Our internal QA system is designed to consistently exceed baseline regulatory requirements.
Kenridge’s QA system operates across four interconnected layers:
Every course and program undergoes structured review cycles to confirm it reflects current evidence-based teaching practices, up-to-date industry needs, and measurable learning outcomes. Curriculum is not written once and left static — it is revisited on a defined schedule against labor-market data, employer feedback, and learning-science research.
Faculty are evaluated not only on subject-matter expertise but on teaching effectiveness, use of evidence-based pedagogy, and responsiveness to student feedback. Ongoing faculty development ensures teaching methods evolve alongside research and technology, rather than remaining fixed to how a subject was taught a decade ago.
Kenridge tracks learning outcomes, completion rates, and post-graduation employability data as core indicators of program quality — not just as figures for a report, but as direct inputs into curriculum revision. If evidence shows a gap between what’s taught and what students need to succeed, the program changes.
A dedicated internal quality assurance committee oversees the QA process end-to-end: setting standards, reviewing audit findings, tracking corrective actions, and reporting outcomes to institutional leadership. This closes the loop — quality assurance isn’t a department that produces reports nobody reads; it’s a mechanism that directly shapes institutional decisions.
In a world where roles, skills, and industries change faster than static accreditation cycles can track, Kenridge treats quality assurance as a continuous, evidence-based practice — not a one-time checkbox. Regulatory compliance with FLDOE gives students and families a verified baseline of legitimacy and protection. Our internal QA system is what ensures Kenridge keeps earning that trust, year after year.
Kenridge University — knowledge that ignites, held to a standard that never stops improving.
